Finally, after months of dilly dally, HRH Sultan of Pahang has commuted the whipping sentence for Kartika. Instead, she will be ordered to perform community services for a duration of three weeks.
As HRH is the ketua agama Islam in Pahang, his decision should be respected. Afterall, he is answerable to al-Mighty on his decision.
Let's not draw comparison between what happen to Kartilka with those seven caned in Kajang.
