Of Rafidah Aziz : Wanita Chief candidate # 1

In UMNO now, only the resident's post is win uncontested. The rest is open season for all. Once, the domain of Tan Seri Rafidah Aziz (TSRA), the Wanita chief post that she held for the past umpteen years except for a brief stint when she lost the post temporarily in late 1990's, the post will be contested again.

Known as the Dragon lady, TSRA is synonymous with Ministry of International Trade and Industry which she held since 1987 before she was dropped from the cabinet post in 2008. That' a long 21 years!.

Say what you want about her, she is one of the trusted lieuftenants to put Malaysia in the world map. Her tireless forays and sharp thinking has earned her a reputation within the international circle.

One of her major blemish to her career was the accusation that she has approved thosands of APs' (not ayah Pin) to her close associates and relatives. However, the accusations was never legally proven in the courts of law.

The Wanita movement will need to do their assessment, whether to give TSRA the win and the trust that she badly needs now or to let her move along with defeat.
