Perak : Of confusion, disarray, wisdom and ...

One word to describe Perak politics is disoriented. With so many claims and counterclaims and with theories abound, it seems that the stand for the 2 missing PKR ADUN is that of uncertainty between crossing over to UMNO, stay with PKR or succumb to the "so claimed" monetary gains.

With Perak MB's audience with HRH the Sultan of Perak, the declration by the State Speaker that the duo has resigned and the denial by the duo that they have resigned, this is going to be a constitutional intepretation. Will the EC of Malaysia declare the seats vacant? Will there be SD's flying back and forth? The drama is surely charging the adrenalins, higher than that of "Who shot JR of Dallas" fame.

The things that are puzzling are these :-

1. Both claims that they are on MC, surprisingly on the same day and the same time period;
2. Both claims that they are still loyal to PKR;
3. Both did not turn up personally during the press conference;
4. Both are sick but never informed their next of kins on their whereabouts as normal sick people do;
5. Both use their special officers to give the press conference, and coincidentally both press conference are held in Kuala Lumpur/Selangor

This scribe reading, between the lines are (and there are more to list) :-

1. How can they be super efficient in getting sick on the same day? Unless, the persons who arrange for the MC excuse blows it big time...
2. If both are still loyal to PKR, why can't they or their special officers contact PKR when reports of their "missing" were announced in all media?
3. If both are sick, why can't they invite the press to their hospital beds to prove that they are "seriously" sick and not "playing sick"?
4. Why they never informed their spouses/sons/daughters/parents that they are sick? Unless (with great apologies) and unless they contacted with STD and to embarass to admit that...
5. Why use special officers? Why can't they contact their respective PKR state chief to announce?

What is seen here is that there are more questions than answers. This duo needs to engage a professional PR officers...someone to sidestep questions but at the same time leaving everyone feeling good...

In response to Wenger J Khairy, this scribe wrote "In the case of Perak and maybe NS (?), how I wish the guardian of Islam (which happens to be the head of state) will use their wisdom to get all the parties involve to sitdown and map out a "win-win" situation for all.

The "win-win" situation shall be taken as the outline for future cases, whereby all elected representatives shall remains in their respective parties, unless the seat falls vacant due to death.

PR and BN can do all the strategising for the next GE. Rumours, claims and counter claims of party hopping shall not be entertained from now on and let all of us stay focus in tackling with the coming economical challenge and lay offs that will be hitting Malaysia soon.

The man on the street is getting fed up with the continuous politicking which benefits no one except those who dreams to be in the corridor of power.

Let UMNO sort out who they want to be their elected office bearers, including who they wanted to lead the youth wing (I know who u are rooting for :)) and UMNO has the next 3 to 4 years to revamp before the rakyat makes their choice in GE 13.

The same goes to PR. "

But then again, this scribes remember the chorus of Madonna's "Don't cry for me Argentina". It goes something like this ...

Don't cry for me Argentina (replace that with PKR)
The truth is I never left you
All through my wild days
My mad existence
I kept my promise
Don't keep your distance

And as for fortune, and as for fame
I never invited them (monetary gains?) in
Though it seemed to the world they were all I desired

They are illusions
They are not the solutions they promised to be (since both of us are going to appear in court on corruption charges)
The answer was here all the time
I love you and hope you love me

Don't cry for me Argentina (change that again with PKR)

Enough of singing...and dreaming of Madonna...

Till then...G'nite M'sia...wherever u are...
