D N41 : T -6, Maslan's blunder gets a reminder...

  1. Muhyiddin sets the tone and now Maslan goes one step further. If Muhyiddin says "The bucks stops here", UMNO's information chief, Ahmad Maslan literally says "Who's Fauzi, the fishmonger ?". Bad mistake!!
  2. UMNO has lost touch with its roots. That's the best description for Maslan's blunder. In a rural place like Manek Urai, you do not belittle your opponent. At least, not in Kelate.
  3. It is said that Ahmad Maslan described PAS candidate as fishmonger (when he is a fish whole seller) and Maslan's slur has riled the fishmonger and fish whole seller association to the extent that they will protest UMNO's slur and support Abe Uji (Mohd fauzi - PAS candidate).
  4. For those who are unfamiliar with the customs and traditions of rural areas, this is a quick tip - fishmonger and fish wholesellers are held in high esteem there. What more, doing business is one of the deeds encouraged by prophet Mohamad pbuh.
  5. Another thing, in most wet markets of the east coast, the fish monger and wholesellers are the prime movers of the society and their close rapport with their customers will make vote canvassing easier. This is one thing Maslan and UMNO ill-affords.
  6. If Muhyiddin is hitting his own men the day before, Maslan is distancing voters from UMNO. Way to go....UMNO, you are going the wrong way.
  7. This incidental slur clearly demonstrate that UMNO has lost touch with their roots. UMNO has been too urbanised that they forget the touch and sound and feel of the rural beat. UMNO President likes to say that he smell the difficulties, taste the problems but UMNO members are not following what their President is saying. UMNO is dancing tango style whilst the people are loving dikir barat. In short, UMNO is not dancing the tune of Manek Urai...
  8. If this is the case, Maslan may as well pack up his things and send all his boys and girls back to where they belong - their hometowns. It is going to be a lost cause, so why must UMNO spends unnecessary money supporting their campaign workers? Cut the losses now, Maslan...and do the right thing ie withdraw from Manek Urai battle stations.
  9. But then again Maslan cannot do that because UMNO has not participated in Penanti and withdrawing from Manek Urai will be an ultimate low. So, may I suggest for all UMNO supporters and workers to go easy and spend the holidays in Manek Urai whilst it last.
  10. However, PAS must never be lulled by these events. 6 more days to polling day and anything can happen. As this scribe wrote before, beware of the unexpected.
  11. Knowing UMNO, watch out for "mystery flyers" tomorrow night. PR workers must be ever-ready to counter the flyers.
  12. For UMNO workers - pade doh demo sesat bangat dok ikut Amno..Boh lah tu! Adik, akok mari sokong bule, pakoh bule lah deh.....dulu, lo ni dan selamonya...
Till then...G'nite M'sia...wherever u are...

Point 8, umno is not spending unnecessary money. As always, it is the Rakyat's money they are spending. Not my pound of flesh, therefore it does not hurt. It is also a good opportunity for the parasites to make money!

When I wrote UMNO spending unnecessary money is when I am referring to the funds that they use to put up the political posters and banners such as flags, buntings etc. It also includes the funds for their campaign workers travellings, lodging, rent houses etc.

If that fund comes from public funds (read : the rakyat's money) then those election watchdogs and EC should be taking action and you too can make reports to MACC (whether MACC takes action or investigate is another matter). Lodge the reports in and see what happens. At least, there is record of report and can be referred to in the future.

Yes, UMNO stands for U Must Not Object to their alliance as they are the " taiko " over every final decision. They can't felt the frustrations and neglects of the people in villages anymore. For them it is almost always their daily routine to discuss about this project and that project. Nothing wrong with that but to lobby hard for it and sell it off for a quick gain it to perpetuate the vicious cycle of hand-outs.

If one never learn to fish, asking for fishes during the person whole lifetime seems natural and it becomes their inherited rights. What about the poor Malaysians in rural places around the whole nation ? Don't they deserve as much attention than politicians ?

You want to see UMNO runners discussing projects? Try "visiting" the mall (yes, the shopping near PWTC) and watch their runners congregate them every evening...

UMNO learning to fish? Nah..that was before in the early 50's and 60's. Now, UMNO go for C4 explosive river bombing to get their fish or on a smaller scale they will "electrified" those fish with UMNO-sponsored generator sets...UMNO has forgotten to use fishing rods (made of bamboos)...

Let Maslan and insensitive other continue to make their boo boos. All the more effortless support for PAS who will pass with flying colours once again. God is great!

NC, its more than clear that UMNO is misusing public funds campaiging in Manek Urai.

Federal funds!!!!

We are fighting with two hands tied behind our back.

The only good thing is Malaysians are still decent people and more and more are seeing UMNO for what they truly are.

Corrupt, evil and tryanical would be kind to describe them as such.

For ur info, my latest intelligence as of 11th July 2009 indicates that BN is giving up on Manek Urai.

The only thing that they hope to salvage now is to reduce the losses.

I sure hope so. A resounding MU win should strenghten TGNA's hand and give him more leverage.

An upset win for BeeEnd will be disastrous for Pakatan and for TGNA especially !!!!!

If that's the case, let's offer our prayers for PR's massive win in Manek Urai :)
