Of family, far melee and for me - lie...

A family is the basic lego piece within the myriads of other families, extending to become a community, a societ and finally encompasing the whole world.

The head of a family, normally the father, is entrusted by Al Mighty to shape the rest of the family to follow a certain mould depending on the beliefs, religious doctrine which the other members will follow, be it for the better or for the worse...

A father and a mother. They are the ones who shaped their children from the early stages right up to adolescence and adult life. Along the way, the parents will always be there, guiding the young ones and installing set of values which hopefully determine the social boundaries of yes and nos'.

As parents, it is the sense of achievement when the children are the shining beacon of society and likewise the parents will feel dejection if their children grows up to be the scourge of society.

Now, what happen when someone question the wealth of your children? What more if you happens to be Malaysia's PM? Well, for one Najib could not fall back to his "inheritance" claim as that angle has been shot down by his band of brothers. What more when the children in question happens to be his step-son.

Can Najib fall back on RosCTmah? Nope, RosCTmah did not come from well to do family. Thus that angle has been covered as well. Being 30-something, Najib cannot claim that his step-son make it in his own...not when Najib could not explain how his step-son start the ball rolling.

Thus, the question that lingers in everyone's mind is - where did Reza Aziz get his first million? Sarawak Report in their continuous exposure link 1MDB to Jho Lo then to Reza Aziz. Regardless whether this is proven right or wrong, it is serious enough for Naib to address the issue straight on. It is not a matter of jealousy or bad mouthing. It is something that really happen and Sarawak Report is connecting the dots of possibilities.

Najib needs to clear the air early. If possible before 28th March. So far, I see Najib orchastrating series of moves to deflate Sarawak Report's claims. Najib is hinting of 'bad characters' in UMNO and yesterday's Tun M's blog inaccessibilty sets tongue wagging on the possibility of one such move.

So far, Najib is not accussing Tun M openly and neither does Tun M lay the inaccessibility blame to Najib. They may not be fighting but certainly they are not dancing either. So far, it is long shots and no clear target.

And as if on que, Jho Lo is claiming that he is an easy target due to his close relationship with Reza Aziz.

Let's not forget to remind Najib that whilst he is the head of his family, he is also entrusted to govern Malaysia. 1MDB's Chairman if Najib so it is right for some to feel panicky seeing how 1MDB is handled. Again, as if on que, rosy pictures are painted on 1MDB as if nothing is wrong and everything is in order. Khairy says so...Khairy's (once upon a time sidekick) Wenger takes a more practical stand...Putrajaya confirms an additional RM 950M standby credit...

What do I see? I see Najib standing up to defend his family aka his stepson and along the way his baby, 1MDB. To Najib, "menegak benang yang basah" or not, he needs to make his last stand. Najib has not much to lose now. His back is on the walls, waiting to be crucified.

Najib is looking at shadows and he doesn't know who is his enemies. Could it be Pakatan with Rafizi and Phua taking the lead? Could it be Tun M? Could it be his second in command? Could it be his remaining 2 VP?

One of the indicators will be 28th and 29th March. Najib will be hosting his daughter's wedding from his second marriage on 28th whilst I understand that Muhyiddin will be hosting his daughter's wedding on 29th March. Could UMNO decide to show their hands in the reception? Whose reception will have more UMNO division leaders?

Interesting indeed...

Since we are in family business...was Najib ever been beside his first family when they need him most? Or is Najib like a drunken lover, too busy sipping RosCTmah's honey that he forgets his role as a father to his children from the first marriage? I am sorry to say that I did not care much about a person who forsakes his first family chasing a married woman... and I did not see such person as PM material...

Mind you, it is not a one way deal. Whilst the father heads the family, instilling good qualities in the children, the father himself must show a good example by leadership. If the father is "Cakap lain, buat lain" material, it is equally hard for the children to defend their father. Case in point is both in Putrajaya and Sg Buloh. One is burdened with 1MDB, expensive hairstyle, beautiful model etc and the other is claiming political conspiracy. I say both should be sent to retirement...

UpdatedFor Najib, the way things are, he assures that his second family, let me rephrase it - any immediate family related to Ros CTmah will be given top class treatment including opening doors to inimaginable wealth and opportunities. He will certainly counter that whatever I do, my predecessor did the same. You don't do what others do - you do what his Al Mighty ask you. Comprendo, Najib?

When push comes to shove, Najib opts for far melee, shooting from a far trying to justify the ends. Not a good potrait of a leader, is it? When everything else fails, Najib ropes in his trusted lieutenants (?) and his family's inner circle to lie for him, be it white, black or grey lies..Anything, everything as long as he stays in power.

For Sg Buloh resident, his family takes the top spot. If he is not around, he wants his family to head Pakatan or Pakatan Rakyat. This is to ensure that his relevance in political scene.

Even from his cubicle, he will launch claims after claims and the latest is about , what else? his health. Now his daughter is saying "Papa lost weight and his BP is 50. If it is true, the doctors of Sg Buloh wil know what to do. Did Anwat thinks by staying outside he can guarantee his BP will not drop to 50? C'mmon brother, all this is His plans and when He says "Kun Fayakun" which is loosely translated "Be, and it will be", no force on earth can change what He wants. Period.

Finally, how many of Pakatan's leaders have lie for Anwar. Surely someone will know and that someone is not me...

By the way, I am looking for Shahbudin's Deepak book...love to read the juicier part of the book...

Of "Kalau tak malu, buatlah"...

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, ‘From the words of the previous prophets that the people still find are: If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.'” (Recorded in Bukhari)

One of the hadiths by Prophet Mohamad SAW which is significant and should not be taken lightly. For record, this is one of the sahih bukhari ie authenticated and without doubt a strong hadoth that can be used as hujjah.

If you have no shame, then do it.. simple but has a very deep meaning. I am not going to explore via religous approach but more towards the going ons of today.

Like it or not, Raja Petra of Malaysia Today has a point when he blogged on Anwar's efforts to bring down Hadi. Yes, Hadi may be a fiqh (person who studies Islamic law) and by virtue of this learning, he may be seen as "hard". He may not be as "diplomatic" as arwah Tuan Guru Nik Aziz but he is still open to discussion and is straight forward in his dealings. I cannot vouch the same for Anwar, who is willing to leave his ABIM friends behind in search for DPM post and now thinking that he is the "legitimate" heir to PMship.

That said, I would not be surprised if Anwar goes for the "split and rule" strategy. Splitting PAS by using Mat Sabu and the professionals is Anwar's way of pushing Hadi out. Whilst I have no issue with professionals but it must be reminded that PAS's slogan and inspiration has been clear since it's inception. There is no two way about it. That is why PAS has no regrets to leave BN in 1972 and at the same time PAS is not afraid to lose Kelantan before.

What I am saying is simple - PAS has it's own principles and they are not ready to bend their principles to suit human logic. The professionals in PAS is correct to dream of governing Malaysia but it should not be done at the expense of foregoing the party principles. So, "If you feel no shame, then do as you wish". After that? those who have no shame in abandoning Islam for worldly gains are answerable to Him. We all do...

The same goes to government action on 1MDB. Last week, DPM mention that there should not be any bailout. Now, Finance Minister II informed the August house that RM 950M is set aside to be injected into 1MDB. Funny...a week earlier, the cabinet agrees that there is no more fund or bailout for 1MDB and here today, we have second finance minister confirming in Parliament of RM 950M fund for 1MDB.

What do you call that? Euphemism? Politicians being politicians will snake their way out of situations and when cornered will lay the blame on miscommunication as well as different names for certain actions. Heck! A rose is a rose nomatter what names you use to describe it. Politicians? They may even called it a hibiscus when they know damn well that it is a rose.

What does it leads us? That's why I quoted the hadith which literally means "Kalau tak malu, buatlah..." Be forewarned that you might escape your sins and your actions in this world but you will never get away in the days of reckoning.

Look at Anwar Ibrahim. If what Raja Petra writes is true (and I am certain that it is at least 80 % true), he has no shame to plot the downfall of his one-time comrade in ABIM. All is fair for Anwar as long as he gets what he wants and as long as his opposition post is inherited by his daughter. It is also a shame when the professionals in PAS resort to plotting to oust the Ulamas from PAS hierachy. One question - are they experts in Hadiths and the laws of Islam or are they whatsapp ulamaks who think and use logic to justify their actions?

The same goes to the present day government. Have you no shame to twist and turn when it comes to 1MDB? RM 960M? Divide that with 160 UMNO division leaders who attended 8th March briefing and you get RM 6M. Is that what Najib is hinting on 8th March 2015? If that is so, then what happen to MCA, MIC, Gerakan, PBB and the rest? Are they not BN family too?

Just ask - how can a person responsible for 1MDB walk smiling knowing that 1MDB is RM 42B down? Blame on the press? Blame on everybody else except himself? Is that the correct way? Did he has no shame knowing that 1MDB is in RM B trouble? And did he go further asking J Lo to claim that he is in political crossfire?

To me, it is the mt shameful of acts when you are plotting behind your friend's back and you are equally shameful when you misuse your responsibilities for your personal gains.

Only those who are unshameful will go the "membujur lalu melintang patah" way. For them, the rest of the worlds are their pawns. Everything is A OK as long as they get what they want and they will not turn their back out of shame. They have no shame and when one has lost the shameful feeling, he can go overboard agains the act of nature and he can also goes overboard in reaping wealth to his own family.

Latest : As I posted this last night, See how Hanipa Maidin blasted the Ustadz for their lack of general knowledge. Is that really so? Who is really falling into the trap? The "know all" professionals? or the "know nothing" Ustadz? Good question which I might take it head on in future blogging...

Latest againMana ada malu? Where got shame? Did you read about 1 senior lawyer who goes around town telling his side of the story and some of his supporters claimed that noone dared to debate/challenge the lawyer's side of the story? Well..if he has such a strong case, why is he applying the 11th hour application to stop the malaysian bar from discussing a motion on his conduct?

Apa lagi mahu malu? The senior lawyer has been jabbing and giving undercuts version of his story. Now that the Malaysian bar wants to discuss a motion on his conduct, why be afraid if you are in the right? Why hide behind the courts? There is nothing to be ashamed of if you have notihing to hide.. or does this senior lawyers did really has something fishy.. a smell that he is so shameful?

Wait!!! He is not the only one. A while back, I blogged on one of my favourite ex-minister Sabarruddin Chik. and how another ex-minister Sanusi Junid launched a book concerning one super extraordinaire carpet seller. As if magic, the carpet seller obtains an injunction against the author, one UMNO member Shahbudin Husin. It is no shame if you borrow from the bank and have problem paying bank the loan but is is shameful if the loan is exposed in a book. Buat apa malu?... or is there any hidden issue behind the loan??

As I see it, you can take a loan of several million ringgit and when faced with problems and if there is a book detailing the loan, you can take countermeasure to sue the author for billion ringgit. Senangnya orang mahu buat wang... maybe this one, no need to be malu...

Yes...do so..since you are unshameful. Me? Thank god that I still have that shameful feeling, it helps me through life. I may not be rich nor cunning enough to make use of others but at least I am blessful with what He has given me.

Truthfully, I hope you guys still possess the shameful feeling to guide you through...

Till then...G'nite M'sia...wherever u are...

Of "Sound of Silence"...

Eerie...

Yes, all the major MSM thumped "UMNO division leaders in solidarity with 1MPM6". Is that for real?

A portion of "Sound of Silence" reads :
"And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never shared
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence "

160 out of 1910 UMNO division leaders turned up on 8th March to listen to Najib's explaination. Funny, out of 160, not even one question. Everything is OK? Or are they hearing without listening?

My lecturer is always worried when there is no question coming from the lecture hall. Are the students sleeping? Cannot understand? or they are not physically there? The same goes for Najib's grand explaination on 8th March - are the division leaders listening or are they hearing Najib's explaination. There is a difference between the two.

And before I go further, mind you that Muhyiddin has prior commitments elsewhere and so does Sabah division leaders. Tsk..tsk.. is this the "signs" of what next is coming to Najib? Mukhriz is not there and I did not see KJ in red, either.

What I see is 160 UMNO division leaders putting up a "front for show", a false feeling of strength in time for 9th March parliament session opening. It is a breather for Najib, a lifeline to last until end of March for Najib to celebrate his daughter's wedding. After that? It will be an open hunting session!

Look carefully at the detail of the picture. Did you see UMNO youth leader aka KJ? Apart from Zahid and Ku Nan, the rest of the division leaders keep a safe distance from Najib? Why? If they want to show and proof solidarity, they should be swarming Najib...but no..not in the picture. Sorry to say, Najib looks like the odd man out, the black sheep in a flock of red sheeps. o distinctly different, like a sore thump, like a leper in the community. Njib, don't be lulled by false pretense. Watch your back, your expiry date is coming soon.

Since yesterday's "hear the PM session" is held behind closed doors, it is up to you to interpret what happened behind the door. If Najib claimed that noone is above the law and he will pursue those who "damage" 1MDB reputation, did Najib quoted MACC's arrest to FGV CEO over hotel buy in both PD and London? Mind you that one of those who were asked to give his statement is Felda's Chairman's son who happened to be UMNO's ex-VP. Is that the message Najib is sending to UMNO division leaders? Is Najib signalling that he has no issue to go after UMNO VP, f the need arise? If he can go for UMNO's ex-VP, then what stops him from going after 160 UMNO division leaders?

Ah.. did you read about one of my favourite guy, Sabbaruddin Chik ex-Tourism minister and ex-UMNO Secretary General? He service as Bank Rakyat's Chairman was not renewed and in an interview with writer Shahbudin Husin, Sabbaruddin Chik who hails from Pahang and a close friend of Najib reveals why his service was not renewed. It has something to do with RosCTmah's cousin. Interesting enough, the book was launched today by another UMNO veteran Sanusi Junid.

Now, now..Sanusi Junid is a hardcore Tun M's man before, even when he lost his bid to be UMNO's VP. Why the book now? For those still in the dark, the book mentions about one carpet seller who once command Ros's attention.

Yes..Najib has his sea of red shirts. But this is not Thailand...What Najib is lacking is his trusted and close friends. It seems that there is a systematic purging going on affecting Najib's friend. Not only that, the book will also reveal that Najib has at least 3 family members in the cabinet. Himself, Hishamuddein and Ros's cousin. No wonder Najib needs a big cabinet..he needs to fill in his family members.

With the current parliament seating, Najib has lots and lots of explanation to do. He can buy over his Division leaders but can he appease the opposition?

His UMNO division leaders are giving him the "sound of Silence". What if Nurul Izzah stands tomorrow reading Anwar's speech in silence? How will Najib react? How will Pandikar react?

The Sound of Silence is most potent. You do not know what the rest is thinking. Are they with you or are they there to give you a fond "send off"? Najib may be crying in his laughter. Who can he turns to? UMNO division leaders? His "once upon a time" mentor? His close friend?

The sound of silence...it can kills whilst you are sleeping..heh heh..

Of Menegak benang basah...

Honestly, I have no intention to write today. Politically, let time decides the natural course for #kitalawan as well as 1MPM6's future.

However, Malaysiakini article today needs addressing. Be forewarned that I am not the authority to go into details but suffice to say that what I am going to write will give some insight on the issue.

This morning Malaysiakini's article touched on Malaysiakini forum on Ahmadiyya teaching. Granted that Malaysiakini has its rights and freedom to hold such forum. Only I wonder if those present knows what are the real issues here.

In this particular forum, one Ahmadiyya follower Salahuddin Syed Ali claims that the movement is target of slander and prosecution and he feels that the movement is right because they believe in the five pillar of Islam and the six articles of Islamic faith (Rukun Islam and rukun Iman).

Without going further, the same movement followers believe the following :-

1. they believe that the Prophet Isa (Jesus) has died and that the second coming of Jesus is metaphorical in nature;
2. they also believe that their founder, Mirza, has fulfilled the second advent of Jesus and is the Imam Mahdi (the Promised Messiah);
3. they also believe that Prophet Muhammad was Khataman Nabiyyin (Seal of the Prophets) and that more prophets will be sent to mankind;
4. they agree that Prophet Muhammad is the most noble prophet, but prophet-hood can be given by God whenever He wants to and to whomever He wants to give it to;
5. stressing that Ahmadiyya founder Mirza did not bring new teachings, Mirza merely continued with Prophet Muhammad’s teachings and was considered a prophet;

Now, before Ahmadiyya's stand is rebutted, it is equally sad to see how the commentators choose to view issues based on their logic thinking. Out of 11 comments thus far, I see only 1 comment is made from an Islamic point of view. His comments "Muhammad is the seal of the prophets. That means there will be no more prophets after the Prophet Muhammad.If this belief is compromised, there will be hundreds claiming to be new prophets to all and sundry. This is why they are outside Islam and Pakistan outlawed the Ahmedis as non-Muslim. To create this schism in Islam is the way to breakup the Islamic Ummah. Thus enemies of Islam give them support in the name of so called freedom of religion. Islam is finite and there is no need further prophets"

My turn, and my choice is to answer based on a point to point issue raised by the Ahmadiyya followers reasoning :-

1. Ahmadiyyas believed that Prophet Isa has died. If they are Muslims prophessing to the 5 pillars of Islam and six artcles of Iman, then they should profess that Quran is the last of the books and there is no other kitabullah after that. By the same observation, Ahmadiyyas must prophess that what is written in the Quran is true. In the Quran, it is mentioned that Isa did not die. Instead, one of his followers who betrays him has been change by Al Mighty to looks like him and the soldiers killed him and Al Mighty brings Isa up to the heavens and will be sent down to earth again when he will fight the final battle with Dajjal. By this, Ahmadiyyas has already deviated from their so-called claim to follow the six article of Iman;
2. Ahmadiyyas believe that their founder fulfilled the second advent of Jesus (Isa AS) and is the Imam Mahdi. How can this be true when Islam mentions that Isa AS will return to earth to kill Dajjal and with Imam Mahdi they will follow the teachings of Islam and that time is when the end of the world is very near. Anybody hear Ghulam killing Dajjal and what is their prove of killing Dajjal?;
3. If Ahmadiyyas believe that Prophet Mohamad is the seal of the prophets, then how can they explain their belief that Ghulam is a prophet? It is clearly stated in Quran and Hadith that Mohamad pbuh is the last of the prophet and there is no other prophets after him;
4. Ahmadiyyas agree that Mohamad pbuh is the most noble prophet and at the same time Ahmadiyyas derailed from Islam when they say that prophethood can begiven by God whenever He wants to. This is in contrast with the Quranic and Hadiths which specifically mentions that prophet Mohamad pbuh is the last prophet and there is no other prophets after him;
5. If Mirza did not bring any new teachings, the why is Ahmadiyyas teachings mention about Mirza being the second advent of Isa AS, he is also the Imam Mahadi and he is also a prophet after prophet Mohamad pbuh? These statements alone disqualify Ahmadiyyas claim that their beliefs is consistent with Islam.

So what do we call Ahmadiyyas? They are non-muslims as their teachings is not inline with mainline Islam and on top of that there are gross deviance from Quran and hadiths as well their beliefs which is inconsistent with the five pillars of Islam and the six principles of Iman.

With that in mind, it is the right move for Islamic authorities to refuse discussing with Ahmadiyyas as their beliefs run afoul of Islam. In short, how can you call a peach an apple? The same goes to Ahmadiyyas regardless of whether they claim otherwise. Now, where do that lead us? Simple...

In this age, there are many who claim they are experts but in reality they are not. We think through logic whilst religion does not work that way. WE tend to enforce our own set of rules and we ignore the Ulamas'. When that happen, we goes further and further away from the real teaching.

That said, let me emphasize that let the Ulamas handle Islam as we (layman) are far from understanding the methodology of edicts and why they are given as such. We are not Imam Shafie, or Hanafi, or Maliki, or Hambali. In fact, our generation is way below from the three mentioned by prophet Mohamad pbuh. Even Mirza is not within the first three generation of Islam as mentioned by prophet Mohamad pbuh.

Finally, as a word of caution, this writer hopes Malaysiakini will be more careful in dealing with issues like Ahmadiyyas. There are many elements outside who likes to comments based on their thinking without facts and figures as well as the relevant Quranic and Hadiths to support their stand.

Yes, we are free to state our minds but let's ensure that the statements are based on knowledge and not based on logic. Me? I have done my part explaining and I am sure there are Ulamas outside who are willing to give more insight, if needed.

To Ahmadiyyas followers, usah Menegak benang yang basah...

Of Serkap Jarang...

Normally it is poker face for me..and honestly I have no intention to pen anything tonight in my blog. However, Malaysian Insider posted an article of someone I thought will be missing forever...

Damn if you do and damn if you don't...that's how serkap jarang catch you...

Is 1MDB going to be Malaysia's Titanic? And if it is, will it be Najib and RosCTmah reprising the role of Jack and yeah, Rose. Good luck to them with the sinking Titanic oops 1MDB.

Enough of them. It's been ages since Malaysian J-Lo's name was mentioned in this blog and with Sarawk Report linking him to 1MDB, he will be hardpressed to come up with credible explaination to 1MDB dealings.

7th March #kita lawan? Not interested! I will give it a pass as the rally call is not about Malaysia. It is more of a personal rally cry of the person in Sg Buloh's Hilton. Frankly, there are other better avenues to fight his cause but most important he has to come clean. Hiding behind his MP immunity is not the solution. The recycles issue of thin mattress, mosquitoes, squatting toilet, mouldy walls is getting stale.

PKR is making issue out of eveything. Just because Anwar may not be able to sit down for tea with HRH is also an issue. Anybody in PKR ever question Anwar for his Kajang move? Did he show respect to HRH Sultan Selangor during the recent MB conflict? Anwar fails to use diplomacy to resolve Selangor MB issue up to the extent he was stripped of his Datukship. And now he is looking forward for tea with HRH Agung? Be real, PKR. That's what you get when Anwar slighted HRH Sultan Selangor.

This is not about 7th March...this is more on Serkap Jarang.

How is Najib going to impress UMNO's 170 Division Leaders? There are many issues that needs his explaination. Leading them is 1MDB. No less important is his wealth and "inheritance" issue, his other half's hairdo and maybe the needling issue will be Tun M's constant comments on 1MPM6's actions.

Did you notice how his PR team is delftly rerouting 1MDB? Now Najib is getting his Auditor General to audit 1MDB and report their finding to PAC. See how Najib is distancing from 1MDB and at the same time declare "no stone unturned and whoever did wrong will face the music". It is always "whoever"..it is never 1MPM6 taking the responsibility. Anybody noticing how the 1MDB is shifted to be cabinet's baby? This is all planned by PMO and maybe Paul.

The Division Leaders get together is a sign that all is not well. Najib needs to do some convincing explaination and maybe spiced with more monies to be made available for the leaders. Najib needs to keep looking back as by now he will not know who will be Najib's Brutus. Remember Datuk K? The one who made a police report bout 1MDB? Now he is gone. Isn't it the work of unseen hands who finds his weakness and expose his bankcruptcy status. Yes, UMNO can declare it is not witchunting on their part but is it really? All these years Datuk K has been enjoying his status as Deputy Division head and with a sleigh of the hand, he is out of UMNO's inner circle on the basis of his financial standing. Boleh percaya ke?

If Najib is having sleepless nights in Putrajaya, some are trying to do the same to PAS's Hadi Awang. The latest incident involving Dzulkefly Ahmad drives Mujahid Yusof Rawa to call on Hadi to rein in PAS members from hurting each other. Is this not jmping the gun? Who has the proof to say that it is PAS members? And why put Hadi Awang into the position?

If Hadi issues a statement for PAS members to calm down, then it will be politicised and will damage PAS further. This is what PAS enemies and PAS's "musuh dalam selimut" wants. They love to see PAS splitting and this is the sort of "serkap jarang" that is most harmful.

However, Mujahid fell into this trap and just because he is an MP, he thinks this is a right move. Kawan, you have a lot more to learn.

Yes..it is "serkap jarang" but is is potent weapon that can brings down PM and at the same tme can split a political party. If that happens, who will be left standing? Most probably the Sg Buloh long term tenant...

By the way, just a friendly question " Will WJ Khairy return to blogging?"

Till then...G'nite M'sia...wherever u are...

Of lain padang, lain belalang...

Whilst 1MDB is spinning stories..let's venture into other issue...

This time, we cgo New Delhi as well as Indonesia...

In getting news scoop, agencies will go to great lengths to get the juicest part of stories. In doing so, sometimes those seeking sensational news will breach etiqquetes to get what they want, be it good or bad.

Remember the New Delhi rape case? The case push to the spotlight, how women are treated in India and how they are seen as objects to release men's sex desires. In this particular case, six male raped a 23 year old girl and subsequently assaulted her viciously with iron instrument. The girl lost her life later.

Her case caused an outburst of grief and demand for justice. In meeting these demands, the Indian police apprehended six male and in the trial, four were found guilty and sentenced to death by hanging, one died before the trial concluded and the last one, a juvenile was sentenced to three years in a juvenile facility.

As I said earlier, "Lain padang, lain belalang". It literally means that different places has different set of rules/customs. When BBC film maker interview one of the convicted rapist cum murderer in "India's daughter", the convicted rapist who is now on the death row did not show any remorse to his crimes.

Instead, he blame it on the 23 year old female student for venturing out past 8:30 pm with an unrelated person. The same thing will not be said in Malaysia where there are those who finished their work at 10:00 pm or those who goes watching late night shows with their boyfriends. It is also unheard of in UK or USA for a lady to be accused of being immodest if she goes out past 8:30 pm.

But, then again...this is India. One of the convicted rapist, Mukesh Singh was quoted saying "A decent girl won't roam around at nine o'clock at night. A girl is far more responsible for rape than a boy,". Mukesh did not show any remorse. In fact, he provided a new insight on how to destroy evidence/witness. He suggested "The death penalty will make things even more dangerous for girls. Now when they rape, they won't leave the girl like we did. They will kill her. Before, they would rape and say, 'Leave her, she won't tell anyone.' Now when they rape, especially the criminal types, they will just kill the girl. Death."

If you are in the pardon board looking into his appeal, what is your decision? Can a person who show no remorse, a person who thinks that it is better to finish off the victim to avoid witness be granted a pardon?

This same person thinks that on 20 % of the girls going out after 8:30 pm are good. Is this how girls should be perceived?

Some may say that that is the mindset of a convicted rapist/murderer. Wait! It does not end there. one of Mukesh lawyers claimed "In our society, we never allow our girls to come out from the house after 6:30 or 7:30 or 8:30 in the evening with any unknown person.You are talking about man and woman as friends. Sorry, that doesn't have any place in our society. We have the best culture. In our culture, there is no place for a woman."

Another defense lawyer opionioned " "If my daughter or sister engaged in pre-marital activities and disgraced herself and allowed herself to lose face and character by doing such things, I would most certainly take this sort of sister or daughter to my farmhouse, and in front of my entire family, I would put petrol on her and set her alight."

Yes..it happens in India. Different places, different set of values. I will not take sides to say which is ok and which is not. However, even if I accept India's set of values, as in the eyes of Mukesh lawyers, I will certainly not sided them in case of criminal acts.

Well, there might be ways to curtail a woman's movement after 8:300 pm but to say that they are the reason for rape is not right. To me, a man must respect a woman's dignity and it is not our right to judge another person by where she is at any particular time. If a man does thigs against the law then he should pay the price.

Being unremorseful is worse. That shows the man did not repent and is proud of what he did. Then he should not deserbe to be pardon.

At the time of this writing, India has secured a court injunction to block the documentary to be aired this weekend.

Of late Indonesia gain international coverage with their execution for drug exporters/importers. Malaysia too use strict laws when it comes to drug-related crimes but Indonesia recent case deserves coverage.

Despite diplomatic pressures, Indonesia's president Joko Widodo adopted a tough stance against drug traffickers and others on death row, denying clemency. Now 2 of the Bali Nine drug traffikers are being transferred to an island for execution.

Indonesia has been on friendly terms with Australia. However, when it comes to drug smuggling, Indonesia's tough stance deserves to be honoured by others. Like "Berat mana mata memandang, berat lagi hati memikul". Joko can be accused of many things but his tough stance when it comes to drugs should be applauded. This is Indonesia's problems and Indonesia image. Joko do not want Indonesia to be seen as a transit point for drug traffikers.

Australia may have its own reasons for diplomatic efforts to avoid the execution. You see, the convicted criminals are their citizens. Yest, Australia must respect Indonesia's laws regarding drug traffikers.

Malaysia? I did not see the same tough stance because if it happens in Malaysia, Australia may have bargaining chips. Australia can offer Sirul back to Malaysia, if it can be exchange with the convicts, they also MH 370 task force leverage. With the 2 leverage on the tables and maybe with a side offer, the two convicted drug traffikers may be set free. They call in diplomatic efforts. I call it bargaining chips...

Of busy March...

Bz...BZ..
Since Malaysia do not experience four season, will it be like :
1. Bz as squirrels collecting nuts for the winter?; or
2. Bz like bears eating as much food before hibernating?; or
3. Bz like dung beetle..for its offspring?

Yes..March is going a busy month for some and equally busy for us to follow the news.

First up will be 7th March #lawan rally. Although so far the rally receives mute and lukewarm response. If the organise has some sense, they will wisely called off the rally and re-scheduled it to a different date. Giver whatever excuse possible as long as the rally is not held on 7th March. What if they continue with the rally? For one, it may reflects that Anwar's case has lost it's shine and glamour. PKR could no longer bank in on their normal war-cry of "political manipulation and agenda". Is he a political prisoner or a victim of his own makings?

Why the need to reschedule the 7th March rally? Simple...UMNO is having their "meet the division leaders" on 8th March 2015. Nobody is certain what will happen when Najib meets the 170 division leaders. Najib may has his own agenda but will his agenda in line with the 170 division leaders? So why do the 7th rally as a catalyst for Najib to call UMNO to his side?

Najib is cornered with the continuous Sarawak Report's exposure of 1MDB and J-Lo. The latest exposure implying USD 700M were damaging if Najib fails to address the issue. The 1MDB financial standing has partly weakens Ringgit to the lowest since 2009.The implied relationship and J Lo's manouvre in "siphoning" 1MDB money is damaging. Najib has to either admit or declare J Lo's part in 1MDB dealing. Yes, Najib is not running 1MDB on day to day basis but surely whatever major decision made should has his consent or his instruction. Which is which? Did Najib instruct or wa he briefed on 1MDB's Petrosaudi deal? It is certainly something that Najib cannot sweep under the carpet. If Sarawak Report is harsay, then Najib needs to take the lead to sue Sarawak Reort and London newspaper for their exposure on 1MDB-Jho Lo-Najib connection. Why? Najib has to prove that he is not "Jaguh Kampung" who only dares to sue Harakah daily for printing out Sarawak Report contents but did not dare to sue the source. What more if it is publish in UK or USA...

Will it be Najib's swansong as UMNO's president? Malaysiakini reported Najib defended his father as frugal and principled person. Now, now..which is true? Najib or PMO? PMO says it's inherited and now Najib says his father was a frugal and principled person..Is PMO issuing a misleading statement or Najib is parroting what his band of brothers are saying? If he parrots his brothers, then what is Najib's action on PMO's statement? Let go and let Paul continue his wild parties and clubbing? Slap on the wrist? Or claim that PMO is being misquoted? Worse still, is Najib blur on what PMO is doing?? Is PMO sleeping on their job?

I see the writings are on the walls for Najib. Even if he survive the 8th March "Meet the division leaders" session, it will be hotter and hotter for Najib and he will be sweating in his pants. Remember that FELDA's profit is down by 96 %, Prima group is posting losses, and Petronas is down by 25 %. 1MDB is flushing in the drain. What is going right for Najib now?? Even RosCTmah's hairdo cost is an issue...

Remember Ahmad Said, Terengganu's ex-MB? He got Najib's "You are fired" when he was in the midst of preparing his daughter's wedding. I wonder if 8th March will signal the "Najib, you are fired" conclusion. If that happens, Najib gets what he sows. He fired Ahmad Said when the latter is preparing his daughter's wedding. Where will Najib host his daughter's wedding if he "got fired" on 8th March? Or will he begged the division leaders for some extra-time to see to his daughter's wedding? For those in te dark, Najib's daughter marriage is set on 28th March 2015. Hmmm...come to think about it, has Najib knows what's coming to him when the wedding is done in KLCC?

8th March will also be the day when Pandikar return to Malaysia. Will he has sufficient time to give his ruling on Anwar? Can Anwar attend parliament on 9th March? Will Anwar be able to attend his tea=time chat wit HRH Agung? Will Anwar be able to participate in the debate?

Frankly, I see the situation as "play the musical chairs". Deputy speaker is not willing to give his opinion whilst Zahid Hamidi says it is up to AG, Prison dept and Pandikar to decide on Anwar. That said, I see minimal chance for Anwar to attend 9th March parliament opening. PKR will cry "political conspiracy"..that's their standard war cry. If and when Anwar is free from his sodomy ghost, there is no reason for PKR to exist anymore... Why? To PKR, there is no longer political conspiracy above Anwar's head.

One day after, MIC will have their day in court. The high court set 9th March to hear Palanivel's application to quash ROS directives. Is this the beginning of MIC's extinction?

Yes...early March is really busy. If Najib is going to be shown the exit, then he is like the dung beetle, collecting dung together with his #1 lady for their offspring. It may be nutritous to them but definitely nauseous to others. And before he goes, make sure the 1MDB fund is fully accounted.

And if 8th March is the day when all the divisions pledge undivided support and loyalty to Najib, then be sure he will be like the bz bear, gobbling everything insight before he goes on hibernation mode..You know that UMNO division leaders are a fickle lot and Najib has send a signal to those who question his decision. Just look at Kamaruddin of Penang. He raise out the 1MDB issue and now he is sacked from UMNO position because he is a bankcrupt. Anybody else dare to raise any issue against Najib?

Bz like squirrels?..Nah..not appliacable to our 1MPM6 nd RosCtmah..How can they be when their time is seeking for Bilkins, jewelries, expensive hairdo, golfing, and Najib's stepson equally busy making money from you know where whilst partying with the likes of Paris Hilton.

To those taking their SPM results today..my best wishes to you guys and gals...

Till then...G'nite M'sia...wherever u are...
