Mugilan, MIC youth deputy chief urged Samy Vellu to vacate the MIC president's post with immediate effect or latest by December 2011 after Samy Vellu has make it clear that he is stepping down before 2012 MIC's post election.
Almost immediately, Mugilan got a roasting from his buddies in MIC with some implying that Mugilan is trying to warm up to G Palanivel. Even Samy himself make short work of Mugilan by referring him to the disciplinary board. That is why we say mu gila, Mugilan (you are mad, Mugilan).
If Samy is mad and his MIC buddies are foaming (I mean it, foaming and not fuming), it is high time mu gi la, Mugilan (you go la, Mugilan). Where to? Anywhere in the world or you may find yourself sitting next to Chithirakala in KLIA. What? Who's Chithirakala? She is ex-MIED CEO, who was charged in court. The same Chithirakala who was Samy's close confidante for many years before the split-up.
Mugilan, If Samy can do that to Chithirakala, then there is nothing that he cannot do to you.
More interesting is Mugilan's outburst towards Samy Vellu. What gives? Is Mugilan taking his revenge now since it is Samy Vellu who shot down Mugilan from being nominated as MIC's candidate in the recent Hulu Selangor by-election? If that is so, then Mugilan is acting on remote. Somebody behind is forcing Mugilan to push for Samy's early exit. Could that be UMNO, by any chance? After all, it was UMNO who is pushing for Mugilan to be named as BN's candidate for Hulu Selangor.
Or is Mugilan placing his stakes on his Hulu Selangor-mate, G Palanivel. Both were "white-eyed" ehem berputih mata during the recent Hulu Selangor by-election which saw Kamal @ Alan @ Nathan @ Kamalanathan got himself elected as Hulu Selangor's MP.
Aha, talking about Hulu Selangor - what now, Hulu Selangor? Now that the bye buy by-election is over. What is BN's reponse to FMT's report on RM 33 per month pay? Or another FMT's report on poverty in Kampung Kandang Lembu? Kamalanathan, now that you are the MP, when are you geting 1MPM6 Najib to "walkabout" in Hulu Selangor estates? I heard that Najib is going for a walkabout in Johor Bharu.
Heck! Kamal, you better borrow one of those "songkok tinggi" and be in tow with Najib in JB. Maybe then you can whisper softly in his ears on the estates and kampung Kandang Lembu. Sibu proved that Najib has deep pockets and if Malaysia can afford to lose over RM 900M through Sime Darby, what is another few millions for Kampong Kandang Lembu. Kamal, for free advise - you can always whisper to Najib that Sime Darby is a plantation company and the estates and Kampong Kandang Lembu are also in plantation business. I am sure Najib won't mind spending a few millions for Hulu Selangor as it has also been reported that his government spent millions to post a two-page ad in NY Times back on 16th April 2010.

Samy's countdown begins tonight...and by tomorrow, his fate is in the hands of 1,464 voting delegates. Samy has show his cards, tomorrow the delegates will show theirs. The winning cards will determine the direction and future of the beleagured MIC
The boys are back and they will paint the town red tonight. Whatever they do, my advice is for them to stay off toddy tonight because tomorrow is D-day. Not the D-day of Normandy but Decision day on the future direction of MIC.
Come 12th September 2009, 1,464 MIC delegates will perform their duty to elect 2009-2012 MIC office bearers. Samy is hoping that his "Presidential team 2009" will prevail so that his dream of a smooth succession plan can be put in place.
The key fight will be the 3-way tussle for the deputy president post with Samy praying that his choice of G Palanivel will retain the post. However, today's Samy is a pale shadow of past years Samy.
Once, a long long time ago, Samy's words is MIC's commandment. Now, even Sothinathan did not heed his wishes to let Palanivel comfortably defend his post. Sothinathan who was Samy's ex-blue-eyed boy has decided to contect the deputy post, leaving Samu fuming mad and accussing Sothinathan of being too ambitious.
But Samy's headache is not Sothinathan. His headache or rather intense migrane is caused by his long time nemesis S. Subramaniam. Samy may not show it but he is bend in making certain G Palanivel wins the deputy President's post. Samy has place obstacles into Subramaniam path when Samy, through teh CWC, decided to ask Subramaniam to show cause for tarnishing the party's image. And only Samy knows what party image he is referring to because MIC has failed big time during GE 12 and at the same time one time MIC strongman V Govindaraj admitted that he pocketed 30 votes to help Samy beat Subramaniam in the all-important 1977 deputy presidency contest. That pocketed 30 votes pushed Samy to MIC presidency.
Subramaniam's matram (change) battlecry is getting into Samy's nerves. Subra alone is not a threat to Samy but Nammavar-backed Subra is another story altogether. Samy's choice words of President team is no longer relevant to MIC. Maybe Samy fail to acknowledge it but his supporters are deserting him.
Makkal Osai's exclusive interview with Mahathir is another blow to samy. There, Mahathir has openly declare his support for Subramaniam. To diffuse the situation, Samy blamed Subramaniam for getting outside help and at the same time MIC youth came out to defend Samy.
For Samy, the writings are on the wall. Just a few night back, Palanivel hinted that he did not follow Samy's instructions. If that is not an indication, then what is Samy waiting for? Is Samy waiting for a voice from the sky to instruct him to step down?
Whoever wins the deputy president's post tomorrow, the message will be the same - move out now Samy. It is only the method will be different. G Palanivel will ask Samy to honour his words that he will step down and pass the baton to Palanivel. Sothinathan will request Samy to heed the voice of change and Samy to pack his bags. Subramaniam? If Subramaniam wins, Samy will be having daylight nightmares and every steps will be a painful journey.
Samy came in when MIC was rising together with Perikatan and later BN. Samy overstayed and brought MIC to the ground because of his penchant for power. Makkal Sakhti has swept Samy off the pedestal, Najib has bypassed Samy in Batu Caves and all indications pointed to Samy's exit. If Samy is smart, he will step down now and wait for his Tunship.

1 for Samy, 2 for Vell, 3 for Muthuveloo, All 3 from the family. It's one big MIC family...- In rumbling to trouble...et tu BN?, it has been mentioned about the possibility of MIC split comes September 2009. The stage is set. There will be 3 candidates vying for the deputy MIC post.
- Incumbent G. Palanivel will be defending the post. Samy's longtime nemesis, S. Subramaniam, will be contesting the post and the latest to join the fray is S. Sothinathan. 2 is fine but 3? 3's a crowd.
- Honestly, there is no reason for Sothinathan to go for deputy MIC's post. He is currently MIC VP and he can bide his time there before moving up the ranks.
- For Palanivel and Subramaniam, it is a different case. Palanivel is defending his post and Subramaniam is aiming to re-capture the post that he surrendered to Palanivel. And both are aiming to take over Samy Vellu when he is expected to make way to his deputy in the near future.
- Samy love to see his nemesis, Subramaniam, go through the difficult path. That's why he endorsed Palanivel in the last GA. Knowing Samy, he may be up to some tricks again this time around.
- Whilst everybody is keeping tab on Samy's son, Vell Paari, Samy is manouvering his nephew, SP Muthuveloo, to go for MIC youth post. Some may ask, why the youth post?
- Well, MIC youth chief, SA Vigneswaran, resigned last year and the post has been vacant since then. Although T Mohan, Samy's once blue eyed boy, is appointed as the national youth co-ordinator, nothing is better than having a family member in that post.
- Muthuveloo is a trained lawyer and Samy needs an able family member to back his son, Vell Paari, who will be going for the VP post.
- There you have it. Get Sothinathan all work up to go for the deputy's post, leaving the VP's post for Vell Paari's taking. Muthuveloo goes for the vacant youth chief and voila, you have 3 in a family looking over MIC.
- If that happens, what will be the end of Sothinathan and Mohan? They can join with Palanivel - Subramaniam's loser and leave MIC for IPF. You see, IPF is in limbo after Pandhitan's death. What better way to revive IPF than to have 3 former MIC stalwarts there guiding them into BN.
- In the end, Samy and family controls MIC, whilst Sothinathan and Mohan gains control of IPF. For a better ending, Samy will nominate IPF into BN and everybody will live happily ever after (Samy). Just like those hindi movies...all's well that ends well...
- As for Palanivel and Subramaniam, Samy may have to swallow his pride and work with Subramaniam. This is more so because Subramaniam has the grassroot support. Like it or not, Samy has to go with Subramaniam for his own political survival. That might be a pact between them.
- September is still a long way off but Samy is already planning his son's and his nephew's future. make it this way, Samy is protecting his legacy like what LKS is doing in DAP and LKY is doing in PAP.
- Looking back, Samy is way ahead of UMNO. In UMNO, the best so far is having the SIL as the ypouth chief, and that only happens after AAB left the presidency. Tun M? Mukhriz can only be UMNO youth exco member, after he left...Najib? Too new and still waiting for his son to be politically active. The last I heard (read), Najib's son is already ........active. You guys feel in the dots.
