Job description : 2 sides of a coin...

Tough call! That's my best description on how the police handles Bersih 2.0 last 9th July 2011.

There is no need to deny that there were scores of police who chose the high-handed tactics to disperse the Bersih 2.0 crowd, there are almost an equal number of the force who chose to handle the situation as diplomatic as they could (when their bosses were not around!).

Whilst it's raining tear gasses and chemical-laced water in Puduraya, the crowd along Jalan Hang Jebat had a much easier time to reach the foothills of Stadium Merdeka! Whilst the KL Sentral crowd were "ambushed" in the man-made and self-created "tunnel", others are having an awkwardly easy time to pass the roadblocks along Federal highway.

As I have admitted in the earlier posting, I did not know Allahyarham Baharudin so I could not comment on his passing away. Nevertheless, a kind commentator did direct me to a URL link featuring "him". Well, if that was Baharudin with his hands tied behind his back, I sincerely took pity for both the rally goers who were attending to him and leading the standing policemen to remove the plastic cuffs. At the same time I felt really sorry for the standing policemen who were bewildered with the incident as he kept on muttering that he did not has the instruments nor gadgets to remove the plastic cuffs! (I am referring to the video link as mentioned in one of the commentators in my previous posting).

As I see it, nobody wants 9th July 2011 to be the curtain call for Baharudin and nobody loves to see a man's leg broken due to the alledged brutality of those who carry their duties overboard!
I put the blame and responsibility squarely on the government for failing to provide security and safe passage for those who attended 9th July 2011. The rally is for Clean and Fair election. What's so sinister about their demands?

When the cabinet ministers slammed their foot down and instead mobilised thousands of FRUs' and police personnel to create an impression of KL under siege, it is the ministers' failure to understand that the RAKYATS are boss! Being too long in the cushion makes these ministers lazy bums who failed to understand the rakyats inspirations!

Look at how Hishamudin gloating with more than 1000 arrest. Look at how Liow lied through his teeth when defending the government and denying that Tung Shin hospital compound was gassed! Look at how Rais trying to spin stories of "revolution" as if it must be violent!

Worse still when 1MPM6 Najib demonising the 9th July demonstration and Lo and behold sitting in the VVIP chair in KJ, the one who headed Patriots' 9th July counter demonstration! Did anyone see Patriots video when they charged towards the police defense? Compare the different approach by Bersih 2.0 and Patriots. Bersih 2.0 rally did not go for confrontation whilst Patriots chose a confrontational approach. Yet, KJ shamelessly was seated amongst the VVIP next day listening to Najib's demonising the 9th July rally!

The time has come for those in black and blue to join Bersih 2.0. Afterall, those in black and blue are also voters and they too may be looking forward for Clean and fair election! However, circumstances forced them to stand on the other side of the barricade and with little sleep as well as their officers continuous barkings, they have to carry out the Ministers dirty works.

This is the time to reconcile as Malaysians has a common enemy - 1MPM6! Just look at how 1MPM6's sleeping partner is said to be spending millions for a woman's best friend a diamond ring! Let's just say that the diamond ring is worth 24 million and both Najib and RoseCTmah were married since 1987, that means RoseCTmah saves an average of RM2,858 per day for the past 13 years since their marriage. BUT what if it is USD 24 million which comes up to RM 72 million? That means RoseCTmah saves an average of RM15,173 daily to buy the ring! If 1MPM6 claims that it is their wise and prudent investment, then we do not need Awang Adek and Mohd Nor Yaakob to run Malaysia's finance. Move over Kuok, Ananda, Genting, Vincent, Daim - the richest couple in Malaysia goes to 1MPM6 and RoseCTmah.

Whilst thousands braved the heat and teargasses to march on 9th July 2011, many chose to stay at home reasoning that if violence flare, the Westerners will take opportunity. How naive of them! Did anyone noticed a small caption before 1MPM6 flies to London? In short Malaysia is replacing MIG 29 and BAE's typoon is ready to tender. Do you think Najib goes to London empty handed? Nah... I smelled that Najib might be offering itain to supply typoons to RMAF. Najib may not be asking much - another diamond bangle for his missus can do the trick. After Scorpene, Najib may opt diamonds for commission. Who knows...

Tg Adnan's visit to Indonesia? That's nothing compared to what Najib aims to achieve when he meets in Vatican city. 9th July 2011 proves that Malaysians no longer thinks along the us versus they line. And that scares 1MPM6 Najib! Knowing fully well that UMNO is lagging behind PAS and PKR, Najib needs to secure BN's voting vault. Najib could not depend on Sabah and Sarawak as their loyalty is suspected. The only choice is to pleased the pope and hopefully secure the Christians votes. How? 1MPM6 Najib's close door meeting with the pope may call for certain "solutions" to the Malay bible issue and the use of "Allah".

Najib could no longer count on MIC or Hindraf. Najib's political survival is to make peace with the world's deputy sheriff aka UK. And that is why Najib is putting his best lipstick on to charm David Cameron and the Queen. One word of caution - 1MPM6 better advise RoseCTmah not to show off her RM 72 million ring to the Queen or else the photo will splash across the nation as prove that RoseCTmah has just morphed into ImelCTmah, a clone of Philippine's Imelda...

It started with job description for those who manned the streets on 9th July 2011... however we should all come together and show 1MPM6 Najib the way out. Why? Love him or hate him, we have to protect Najib from further slumping down- courtesy of RoseCTmah binge for those that sparkles! But then again, if she likes sparkles, why was she linked to unsparkled Deepa, the carpetman? UUhhh...maybe Black is beautiful :)

1MPM6 3 strikes... all within 24 hours

If this is baseball, the umpire would have said "Striiike! 1MPM6 out!"
You see, in baseball, a player is given three chance to strike the ball to either place it within the ballpark or to go for homerun. If, by chance the pitcher pitches the ball out of the striker's range, then the umpire will call for "Ball". 4 balls and the striker will get a free base run. Strikeout? That means you are out of the ballgame...

Now back to our 1MPM6's blunders of the year and it all happen within 24 hours! Poor Najib, his APCO team must be sleeping and his RoseCTmah is too SS (syiok sendiri) to provide PR's advise. His other advisers? Maybe too much tuak from Sarawak leaving them giddy! Ok, on with the blunders :-
1. Wen Jiabao for China, RoseCTmah n Mr for Malaysia In Buletin Utama's 27th April 2011 coverage, it is clearly shown that 1MPM6 and RoseCTmah welcomed China's premier Wen Jiabao presumably in parliament. However, there is no picture of Wen's wife thus can I correctly assumed that Mrs Wen is not accompanying her husband or at least she did not eclipsed her husband. Not so for RoseCTmah! She wanted to be in the front thus TV3 clrealy showed her in the footage!

That's not all! TV3 then follow up with 1MPM6's welcome dinner whereby again RoseCTmah stole 1MPM6's thunder by directly engaging with Premier Wen and my oh my, how the Chine interpreter strained her neck to listen to RoseCTmah and translate the converstaion to Prmier Wen. Again, there is no footage showing Mrs Wen!

In short, RoseCTmah has again and again upstaging 1MPM6 Najib even on world stage! And there is no clear signs that 1MPM6 Najib schooled RoseCTmah for her "steal the show" attics!
2. 1MPM6's Chinadoll series
Remember Datuk T? Yeah, the ones who promoted public screening of sex video regardless of the assumed stature of the main actor! As I recall, the police mentioned that the actress is from the orient, most probably meaning China. It would have not been a bluder for 1MPM6 is this episode is laid to rest and remains unconclusive "is he, is he not?". But screening part 2 during Premier Wen's first day in KL? What is 1MPM6 Najib thinking?
Yes, Najib may not be the culprit. No! He should be partly responsible for it! Why? 1MPM6 Najib is Malaysia's PM, is he not? If he is Malaysia's PM, then he should be on top of things, either on issues pertaining to Malaysia or on issues with UMNO's interest!
The timing is just wrong! TV3 (again) mentioned that part 2 of the video was uploaded around noon on 27th April 2011. Is it conclusive? Heck no! In fact even the Catholic bishop Dr Paul Tan Chee Ing commented on the tape denouncing it as "inexcusable outrage". For those who profess that they are Muslims, this "unacceptable conduct" is too gross to explain. You see, I learnt that it is not "religiously correct" to expose others dark secrets and what more when the secret is unfounded and worse still, if it is "created" to shame not just a person but his entire family, including his lineage!Again, TV3 placed itself as vehicle to slander when the TV station choose to put it as one of the main news on that particular day. As if the humiliation is not enough, TV3 provided the time slot for Ezam to belittle his former boss! Now, again let me emphasize here that I am not saying Anwar is maksum. I never did! What upsets me is the way these so-called Muslims like Datuk T, Ezam and those who uploaded the video on youtube failed to live by the Islamic teachings and virtues. And these same persons called themselves Champions of Islam? By "allowing" this act II be played during Premier Wen's visit, it shows the insensitivity of Najib in world politics. Yes, 1MPM6 may want to spike Anwar politically but not at the expense of the Chinese!Not when their Premier is in Malaysia! Not when the police has confirmed that the actress is oriental (read : Chinadoll)!

Remember Loh Gwo Burne? He is the guy who videotaped Lingam's famous "correct, correct, correct" speech. His exposure enable him to win a parliamentary seat and made him an MP! Now, I wonder whether BN is following the same path and placed Shazryl Eskay Abdullah as their candidate for GE 13 election? Best place for Shazryl? Permatang Pauh will be fine. If that is too much, then Gombak since he will be swearing in one of the masjids in Sentul which happens to be under Gombak parliamentary seat. Amacam BN? Bagus tak idea ini?

3. Najib's 1M excludes Chinese language?
2 strikes is not enough for 1MPM6 Najib. The third? This is Malaysia's international blunder! The backdrop for the official welcome ceremony in Putrajaya is just too much. Apparently, Najib's men failed to check the Chinese translation to "Istiadat Sambutan Rasmi Sempena Lawatan Rasmi TYT Wen Jiabao Ke Malaysia" becomes
"Official welcoming ceremony, with him Wen Jiabao His Excellency's official visit Malaysia". Ada betul ka ini?

Najib could not say that he has no Chinese staff! Not when he championed the 1M slogan! Shouldn't the 1M slogan covers Malays, Chinese, Indians, Melanaus, Bidayuh, Sikhs, Kadazans, Ibans and the rest? If it does, then why didn'y Najin entrusted the job of checking the translation goes right to a qualified Chinese? If this simple thing Najib cannot do, then how do 1MPM6 go to bigger srole?

1MPM6 Najib's insensitivity is unwarranted. Is naib interested in Chinese votes and not in getting things right? You have the answer...

Three strikes within 24 hours! Before, Malaysians say "bye bye" to Pak Lah because he likes to doze...even in Bush's presence! Now, we have Najib whose insensitivity may slight Premier Wen. The Chinese might be wondering - is this Tun Razak's son? Why is he not as meticulous as his father? Or maybe Najib is chained too hard by RoseCTmah, up to the stage that he does not what he's doing or saying...hhhmmmrrrrpppphhh, 3 strikes and Najib's on the way out...

Of unofficially legitimate... (with update)

You know Nazri Aziz? Rumour has it that he was an ex-beau to one ex-PM's daughter and along the way, things did not end up as should be, leaving this Nazri fuming and jump at any little chance he has to bad-mouth the ex-PM. Rumour or not, maybe those in the corridors of powers is privy to this episode...

Today, it looks like Nazri Aziz is sucking up to 1MPM6 by coming out with another political statement in his quest to remain indispensable to 1MPM6's cabinet.

Nazri is reported by Malaysiakini to utter
"The term is an unofficial title which has no basis in legal provisions but (is based) purely on convention and accepted international practice," .

So, dear Nazri, if this FLOM is unofficial, yet legitimate, then :-

  1. Why is the FLOM directory listing was removed?;
  2. If Nazri said it is legitimate, what confusion is he referring to?;
  3. Where is it mentioned that FLOM can receive grant and budget to operate?;
  4. If FLOM can have six (6) officers assigned to Ros"CT"mah, then how many officers are assigned to HRH Permaisuri Agung?;
Nazri, dear...are we having an unofficial First Lady of Malaysia? If so, then who is the Official First Lady of Malaysia?

Nazri, Nazri...anything goes eh? As long as you can be BN's candidate in GE 13...

Update : And how do you expect our UFLOM (Unofficial First Lady of Malaysia) reacts to the Japan tsunami? The less said the better... you guys read it out here. My! Oh my!, why is this "important" UFLOM's statement not reported in MSMs' and Bernama? Or is Rais "I burnt the bridge" Yatim sleeping on the job? Afterall, it is Rais who himself declared that the MSMs' and Bernama is "fair" in their coverage...

Of first lady summit...and Rosemah

Poor Rosemah...in all her efforts to gain recognition, she goes all out even to the extent of "self promoting" herself as Malaysia's first lady. The more she tries, the more she fails....and the more she gets the exposure, the more she drags 1MPM6 Najib down...or is Rosemah's hellbend to send Najib to an early political retirement? If Abdullah choose to tend mangoes in Sg Pencala, where will Najib tends his water melons ?

  1. Remember the posting "Of Malaysia's first lady position and NYT's flip flop explaination..."?Or how 1MPM6 Najib "creatively" debunked first lady term when he explained in the parliament that the term "first lady" is not used in Malaysia?
  2. Reading the two, I read it that Najib has officially announced the term "first lady" is not practised in Malaysia. Pure and simple! But not to Rosemah...not when she hosted "first ladies summit" in Kuala Lumpur, right under 1MPM6 Najib's nose and Najib did nothing about that. Does that means Najib condones Rosemah's actions? Does the protocol division in the PM's department agree? And Rosemah's up the ante when she openly declared that Malaysia will again host the first ladies summit in 2012!
  3. Looking down the list of first ladies attending the summit, it is interesting to note that the only Asean first lady who choose to attend is from Laos and she is Laos' President's wife! Even our neighbours Thailand and Singapore did not attend the summit!
  4. Out of the sixteen first ladies, the only notable is Shiranthi Rajapaksa, Sri Lanka's President's wife.
  5. My point is simple. Rosemah's attempt for "self-promotion" has backfired. She is not the legally and constitutionally "first lady" of Malaysia. Even 1MPM6 Najib has indirectly indicated so!
  6. Her first ladies summit is only attended by sixteen first ladies! Who bear the cost? Did Rosemah bear the cost from her own pocket? Or is it from Najib's budget? Or is this another of Najib's ETP project?
  7. Abdul Aziz Bari, a constitutional expert, has make it clear that it might be constitutionally wrong for Rosemah to use the "first lady" title and in his expert opinion, the "first lady" title is most appropriate for Raja Permaisuri Agung. Full stop.
  8. Some may say that this is a small matter but not to me. Claiming to be "first lady" is one thing but to spend the taxpayers' money for the "constitutionally not recognised" first lady is another clear abuse of power. Najib should stop it and I expect the parliamentarians to raise this issue in the ongoing parliament sitting.
  9. 1MPM6 should stop beating around the bush and call a spade, a spade. If the constitution says that PM's wife is first lady, then point out where it says so! If not, 1MPM6 better reprimand his wife who is getting more and more overboard by the day!

    If 1MPM6 Najib is not certain of the constitution, then he can always calls on Rais"I shot the bloggers" Yatim to make the clarification as the later loves to interpret the law. It should be better than Eric Clapton's "I shot the Sheriff"...
  10. That's not all. I see TV3 as one of the summit's sponsors. So is TV3 endorsing Rosemah as Malaysia's first lady?
  11. (I heard Najib loves water melons). There are also whispers that Najib's favourite water melons are not from Negeri Sembilan...

    Don't ask me whether that statement is true or not. Maybe 1MPM6's good friend JJ can provide the answers...

Who walks before Najib? Jeng...jeng...jeng...

Another picture...thousands of words....and it's not doctored!!!

This time, it's Kota Kinabalu and splash in Kota Kinabalu's Daily Express 14th July 2010 edition...

Ask yourself..Najib war-war "Rakyat diutamakan, pencapaian didahulukan" but in reality Najib 's motto is

"Rose-mah diutamakan
rakyat dibiarkan"

Najib, Najib...bila nak sedar... apa, hang kena manderam ka? More than 30 years of experience, Najib still fails in protocol...all because of his protocol-less sleeping partner...

No wonder, Malaysia is going haywire all over the place....courtesy of Najib and Co...

Of MT and the videos : Rosmah Mansor...what else?

1M PM6's tenure at the top is fast approaching 100 days. By right, most things should be in place by now. However 1 thing that seems to be out of place is still there, dangling precariously, will it fall and stab Najib or will it be there like the swinging axe of old? I am not talking about Najib personally here, it is about his other half, Rosmah Mansor, his wife.

They say that behind every successful man is a woman. Does Najib falls into that category? Some say that Najib have several women, behind and below him. We leave him at that. Since this posting is about Rosmah, let's start with her, shall we?

Malaysia today, the only blog consistently mentioning Rosmah Mansor through and through, in their latest postings about Rosmah mentioned of 2 not 1 videos on youtubes, courtesy of C4 production. After going through the videos, these are my views :-

  1. The video is done in poor taste. Nothing spectacularly new is revealed except to reinforce the statements that Rosmah is a snob. Yes, she has not returned to her kampung halaman since + 20 years ago;
  2. Rosmah disown her own daughter from her previous marriages (with some saying that she was twice married before hooking on Najib);
  3. Rosmah bullied her own younger brother (who had previously workerd in Land Rovers);
  4. Rosmah is claimed to use gangsters to follow her brother;
  5. Rosmah used gangsters to disrupt her disowned daughter's wedding;
  6. Rosmah is a "black magic woman", relying on black magic to charm Najib,
  7. Rosmah used her husband's position and influence to get things done;
  8. Rosmah's brother had left the country for his safety.
As I said earlier that Najib's tenure as PM is fast approaching the 100 day mark. It means that Rosmah's tenure as PM's official wife is also fast approaching 100 day. So far Rosmah has not reponded to the video claim. She may feel that it is too small for her to react and that is wrong. Rosmah is a public personality now and she has to face the accusation. Is she what the video make her to be? Did she really disown her own daughter? A man may disown his own children because he may suspect them as not his own and may ask for DNA testing. A woman? No way, because she carried the child for 9 months and deliver the child. Rosmah has to come out and clear her name or is she accepting the statement that she disown her own daughter?

If she disown her own daughter, is this the Rosmah that we want to be standing beside Najib? If she can disown her own daughter, then can she represent Malaysian mothers who are known to be loving to their children? Can she represent the millions of mothers who take care of their children? Can she speak on behalf of these million over mothers? Do she has that right and priviledge to represent these women? I think not! If she did then it is the biggest mockery to the motherhood institution...

Malaysians are sentimental lots. We returned to our hometowns and birthpalces during Rayas', Chinese New Years, Thaipusms, school holidays and what nots to meet our larger families. Rosmah? If she had not returned to her hometown for the past 20 years, what is trying to prove? That she is independent? That she is a family outcast? That she is better than the rest of her family? Or is there something, a dark secret, that she is afraid of? It is her right to go wherever she wants. It is her rights too not to go anywhere she wants because this is a free country. But, in malay folklore, even Si Tanggang return to his roots. Is Rosmah worse than Si Tanggang? Is Rosmah facing amnesia problem? Has she severed her roots?

To be fair to Rosmah, it is difficult to correlate the gangster stories. For all you know, they might be there for different reasons. We are not here to speculate on the gangsters' role in Malaysian society because gangsters are multi tasked organisation. They can be peacemakers, intimidators, protectors, destroyers, friends, foes all rolled in one. And for that reason, we leave the gangsters out of this posting.

What about her brother? Or rather her only sibling? Why do she has to intimidate her own brother? What has her brother did to her? Has her brother associate himself to the powers and influence wielded by his in-law? Rosmah, if she did that to her brother ia one unlucky soul. Someone who is not grateful for what God as given her. Who is the first person that you turn to when you are in trouble? Who do we look for when , if and only if, we need kidney, spleen or anyone of those body organs donation that are only matching to our own siblings or children? All the money in the worls, the fame of husbands, the beauty of wives could not but the sacrifice of those organ donours. Maybe Rosmah did not need one now, what about the future? If Rosmah can do that to her own sibling who grew up together, then imagine what she can do to others.

Black magic? Tell me, who do not believe in the shamans? We are a society which, like it or not, are deeply entrenched and enchanted by the mystics. Malays, Indians and Chinese have their own shamans and their own approachto these mystics. Even in faraway land, Malaysians still believe in this phenomenom. But what about Rosmah? Did she use the shamans to cast away bad lucks? Did she use them to protect her family from jinns? Did she use shamans for her own gains? Rumours has it that she use an India-imported shaman to perform regular rites in her home. Surprised? Nahh...it has been known that politicians go to shamans for various reasons. One of the shaman, Mona Fandey, went to the extent of dismembering an unsuspected politician into 18 pieces. Rosmah has lots of clarifications to do. Did she or did she not engage the shaman? And for what reason?

Rosmah needs to come out from Najib's shadow. She has to prove that the accusations in the video is wrong or done with malicous intents. As 1M PM6's official wife, she could no longer claim ignorance to the video's existence because if she does that then she is making a statement that our police force is an incompetent lot. She has to take the bull by it's horns. She has to dispel the rumours and the accusations. How can she do that? Well, for starters, she can...

  1. She can make a trip to her hometown and meet with the accusers face to face;
  2. She can arrange for a photography session with the "disowned" daughter;
  3. She can start spinning stories on how close their relations are and confirmed by the daughter;
  4. She can meet with her brother and declare openly of their relationship;
  5. She can meet wih her forster family and introduce them to Malaysia
Will she do that? Can she do that? The ball i now in Rosmah's court and not Najib's. Rosmah has to start somewhere and after she deals with the video accusations, she can starts foccusing on answering to persistent rumours that she is behind the model's case. No, Not manohara...but the other oversea model...

Najib's 100 days in office is coming up, Rosmah need to keep up. Will she? Can she? Time will not stand still for Rosmah and this is the time for her to prove her worth to stand next to Najib. 2 time widower, present day PM's wife...that's Rosmah. Who can unseat her? Who will unseat her?

NTR perlu "membersihkan" diri sebelum akhir Mac 2009. Kegagalan NTR untuk membersihkan diri dari segala tohmahan akan mencacatkan ketokohan dan kredibilati beliau. Apakah "The Man who would be King" akan berulang? Kali ini diMalaysia? Rosmah mungkin sudah menghidu bau Sri Perdana tetapi apakah pintu Sri Perdana akan terbuka untuk menyambut pasangan NTR-Rosmah? Kita tunggu dan lihat...
