Of Sarawak's state election : Percayalah 1MPM6...

First, Najib sent himself and Muhyiddin to shore up BN Sarawak. It did not work. The call for change is too loud to ignore.

Then, Malaysiakini and Sarawak Report silenced. Both became unaccessible. BN is getting panicky here. It looks like all the MSM and TVs' combine failed to stop Sarawak's charge to change.

Najib's plea of percayalah seems to falls on deaf ears. Or is Najib's percayalah is a special dedication to Taib Mahmud?

1MPM6 is moving fast to placate Taib Mahmud's thirst to stay on in Sarawak. And what better way to a man's heart if not through his woman? Remember Samy Vellu? Yes, Samy let go of MIC to get himself appointed as "ambassador at large for India". Is 1MPM6 thinking the same way for Taib Mahmud? Providing Taib Mahmud with a plausible escape clause?

Lost? Well, put it this way. The line is clear now that Taib Mahmud will be put on green pasture for his retirement. Whereelse if not Lebanon? Taib Mahmud's current wife is a Lebanese, right? His brother-in-law is also a Lebanese, right? So why not place Taib as "ambassador at large" for Lebanon? I don't think Taib will reject the RM 27,000 monthly salary plus benefit!

Taib Mahmud has a successor in mind. Correct, correct, correct! What Taib Mahmud failed to announce is that either his successor is currently not contesting in the coming state election or his successor is still too young to vote! Then, what is the alternative? There is no other alternative but to show Taib Mahmud his exit door! In this, BN and PR are both working hard to see the ouster of Taib Mahmud. Don't believe? Just ask Najib and he will surely respond "Percayalah, percayalah"...

Now, who in BN can fill in Taib Mahmud's shoes? The answer is "none"! Not because they are no suitable person but Taib Mahmud will not allow him to work in peace. Again we ask, what is the alternative? The answer is simple - there is no alternative but to go with DAP-PAS-PKR combination. Don't believe? Just ask 1MPM6. He will surely reply "percayalah, percayalah".

Why are there three tigers on the same hill? We have Mongolian tiger Najib, Sumatran tiger Muhyiddin and White tiger Taib Mahmud all on the same hill. Najib growls that Taib will be leaving soon and Taib responded with "not now mate, not now". Muhyiddin? He is too busy stalking teachers to bother the two. These three tigers are eyeing each other, but tiger Muhyiddin is aiming for Najib's backside. Imagine this. BN lost Sarawak, UMNO goes in Sarawak, and the guy who controls Sarawak's UMNO delegates will sleep in Putrajaya. Don't believe? Just ask Najib and he will surely coyly answered "percayalah, percayalah"...

The campaign is reaching it's crescendo now. Did anyone bother to ask where is Rahman Yaakob, Taib Mahmud's uncle who once fight tooth and nail with Taib? Surely that old fox is still around to push his favourite Alfred Jabu as BN's incoming Chief Minister, if BN wins Sarawak. Still confuse? Go get the confirmation from 1MPM6. He will surely say "percayalah, percayalah"...

Sundays come early to Kuching this week. Look at how Najib warming up to Christians in Kuching. All for their votes, my friend. All for their votes. Do you think Najib cares? No, he don't. He is only thinking of his political survival. As long as Najib can make Rosemah happy, Najib will be happy. Puzzled? Just ask Najib and he will surely nod "percayalah, percayalah"...

The time is now. Sarawak needs to send a clear message to 1MPM6. Sarawak demands change. Not transformation. Transformation are for Transformers. Change is what Sarawak demands. If 1MPM6 cannot afford to give them change, then by all means BN to step aside and let DAP-PAS-PKR show you the way to CHANGE...

If 1MPM6 don't believe, just ask Sarawakians and they will reply in one voice "percayalah, percayalah"...

Of Taib's Truth and Awang's "nothing to be proud of"...

Most of the times the least said, the better.

As a non-Nicole Kidman's fan, her role as Silvia Broome in the film "The Interpreter" is just fantastic. The movies's tagline "The truth needs no translation" is absolutely correct.

Just read Malaysiakini's "Police accussed of defending Taib Family's interests" and one can associate the movie tagline through and through.

At the end of the day, The FBI agent in the movie was quoted

"It's hard to remember that Edmond Zuwanie was once a good man. That's not unusual for these guys. They all begin as liberators and 20 minutes later they're as corrupt as the tyrants they've overthrown." - FBI agent in "The Interpreter"

Well, Taib Mahmud is no Edmond Zuwanie but he was once a good man. What he is now is a pale comparison of what he set out to be...maybe he is at the pedestal too long that he forgot his roots and his fighting cause.

Awang Adek Hussin, the man who dreamt of becoming Kelantan's MB in GE12 is caught wrong footed again. This time, his statement that

“The government has studied the matter and decided that the site is not a heritage site and will not be turned into one.To our opinion, it is not something to be proud of... there may be other things that we can be proud of, compared to a jail, although it (Pudu Jail) is old." - Awang Adek Hussin, Deputy Finance Minister

What does this particular Deputy Minister of Finance know about heritage? If he could not even get the scores right on the sports betting license which is under the purview of the Finance Ministry, then what do you expect him to know and appreciate the value of heritage sites and buildings?

Awang Adek might be partially correct to state that "it (Pudu prison) is not something to be proud of..." but does Awang Adek know that USA preserved Alcatraz and it is not even 100 years old! And what about the Clink prison in UK? They converted it into a museum so that people can visit the place and "visit" the past...

Awang Adek should learn that demolishing Pudu prison and erasing its memories does not mean that crime has been eradicated from Malaysia. If it is not something to be proud of...then why not Awang Adek spearhead a movement to demolish all prisons in Malaysia? And this Awang Adek is the deputy Minister of Finance!

One in Sarawak where "the truth needs no translation" and one in Peninsular Malaysia where our own Deputy Minister of Finance do not appreciate heritage sites and buildings. However, both Sarawak's CM and Awang Adek has one thing in common - money and $$$$. They won't care about the people nor would they give a hoot on the historical values of heritage site/building.

Maybe, they are better off living in Pulau Bidong if money is soooo important to them. Between them, they can purchase the whole island and do what they want there. They can even get Jho Low to advise them on economic matters as it is said that Jho Low is also an adviser to Terengganu state and Pulau Bidong is in Terengganu, is it not?

Of US's J LO and Malaysian's J Low...

On the other end, it leaves this scribe wondering - how does J Low do it? His expertise or his "know who" connection? If he did it on his expertise, why was his achievement thus far not spotted by the many "head hunters" prowling the corporate world? Why didn't Donald Trump "catch" him as his "apprentice"? I bet, a lot of 27 year olds out there will be willing to pay few hundreds to know his secret. Maybe, J Low's luck and expertise can flow to others so that they too can make it to the top!

1. Once in a while, it's good to take a break. And this time around, let's get cheeky...
2. Whilst cruising through the numerous blogs, this scribe came upon Anilnetto's "Big spending Malaysian in New York". Malay Mail carry the story as "Malaysian man of mystery".
   
3. Honestly, the first thing that crossed this mind is the familiar sound of J Lo versus J Low (only it's J Lo as per Jennifer Lopez and J Low as per (Taek) Jho Low).
4. Another similarity between the 2 Js' is that their bottom half is much talked about. Without mentioning J Lo's assets, one comment in New York Post's "Big spending Malaysian is the mystery man of city club scene" is an acidic "He (J Low) has to compensate for having a small dck."
5. It sure proves that Kwailos think that they have the biggest assets in the world. How wrong they might be...after all, who has the "Big, Strong and Friendly" bank? It also shows that "limped" kwailos are self-centered egoistic individuals. Let me clarify by saying - not all but some kwailos are just like that.
   
6. But this posting is not about J Lo nor it is about their bottom halves. It is about Taek Jho Low, 27 years of age who is described as :-

   • UBG's group advisor/non-independent non-executive director. UBG Chairman is Mahmud Abu Bakar Taib (son of Sarawak's CM Taib Mahmud);
   • group advisor of several international corporations involved in mergers, acquisitions, government to government structured investments, networking and financial aids;
   • representative of Majestic Masterpiece Sdn Bhd and Abu Dhabi-Kuwait-Malaysia Investment corporation (ADKM);
   • the person who sent 23 bottles of Cristal (champagne at a reported cost of USD 900/bottle) to Lindsay Lohan for her belated birthday. That's USD 20,700 !;
   • the person who arrange to flew 8 Pink Elephant waitresses to Malaysia to party. J Low routinely spent US 50K to 60K per visit at 527, West 27th Street Pink Elephant club;
   • Ran up US 160K tab in Avenue;
   • the person who flown in Megan Fox to Vegas to party with him;
   • the guy who lives in USD 100K per month apartment in the park imperial that housed Daniel Craig (007 fame). That cost is exclusive of his entourage of bodyguards and friends;
     

7. This scribe is just speechless! Maybe this 27 year old Malaysian beats our self-proclaimed greatest Financial wizard and KJ # 1 fan hands down with his age and style of living. I mean, just imagine at 27 years old, he has the "world" at his fingertips. He has the back-up of politician by way of his "post" in UBG and he can afford to pay for the "companionship" of Megan Fox whilst having the luxury to "bring out" Pink Elephant's waitresses. Who else can do that?
8. Hopefully, J Low will not cross path with our "cigar chopping man in Washington". It will be another bombshell if Malaysian's man in Washington were to be implicated for another "bottom" pitching of pink elephant waitresses, courtesy of J Low.
   
9. With these track records, Jho Low may have bettered the records of one top corporate figure who currently monopolise Malaysian airwaves with his entertainment package whilst providing a chance for his subscribers to own shares in his mobile phone provider. In his heyday, this corporate figure was linked to the "King" MJ and rubbed shoulders with the high and mighty in Hollywood. Unfortunately, his claims were never backed by photographic evidence. 10. Now, let's see what an average 27 year old Malaysian should be doing, at best. If a person goes through his tertiary education and decided to continues his post-graduate studies, he will be almost 25 when he graduated. Can he achieved what (Taek) Jho Low achieve with 2 years working experience?
11. Given our Government decision to "glorify" Bahasa Malaysia, can our graduates matched J Low's English competency to a level that he can communicate and "convince" the Pink Elephant club's manager to arrange for 8 of his club's waitress to go on "long distance" assignment to Malaysia?
12. At one end, this scribe is happy to see the "achievement" of (Taek) Jho Low. His flair and elegance is beyond compare. It is also said that his USD 160K splash was partly sponsored by an Arab friend. In short, J Low is at par with the Arabs in spending for good times in New York city.
13. On the other end, it leaves this scribe wondering - how does J Low do it? His expertise or his "know who" connection? And that does not count on his entertainment yet. Who is footing the bills? And who is benefitting from J Low's extravagance? Are we on the way to put a Malaysian at the "biggest spender of the night" spot? Are we going for another Guiness book of records?
15. Ah yes, talking about records - this scribe is also curious where did the Pink Elepahants waitresses finally landed? Sarawak? or Peninsular Malaysia? And most importantly - who were the "mahouts" of these elephants? Do these Pink Elephants waitresses have valid travel documents to enter Malaysia?
16. Strange times indeed. Now, even Pink Elephants came out and play...
17. Indeed...maybe the words "how low can you go" is no longer appropriate since J Low's low is already too high for average Malaysians to match...

Taib Mahmud : And the pillar is gone...al fatihah

The pillar is gone...

1. Laila Taib, the wife of Taib Mahmud (Sarawak chief minister), passed away this afternoon succumbing of terminal cancer.
2. Taib Mahmud, was away in the state administrative district of Petrajaya, together with 1 Malaysia DPM.
3. After 50 years of marriage, Taib Mahmud has lost his pillar of strength and source of aspiration.
   
4. This is not the time to bash Taib Mahmud in his time of sorrow. Put aside the differences, temporarily and for those who profess Islam as their religion, please spare a moment of silence and sedekah "al fatihah" and doa that her soul will be placed with the mukmins.
5. For those interested, she will be laid to rest at Demak Muslim cementery tomorrow at 11 am.
6. For Taib Mahmud, it is time to take stock of life. As God is great, in His compassion and benovelence, He will give chance for humans to repent. Sometimes, in our haste, we forget that the Creator is always there.
   
7. In our glory, we lost sight that our existence is to serve humankind, in line with His will. As humans, our vulnurability to power, influence and power creates diatance between us and the Creator. And at times, God in His own way will remind us that we are merely His subjects.
