Some online news mention my friend SakmongkolAK47 crossing over to DAP. I may not know him that well but my bet is Sak will stay in UMNO as UMNO is his first love. Aziz Bari, on the other hand, may join DAP as I believe Aziz Bari may not have a long future in PKR.

2011 is sure a cloudy year for 1MPM6 Najib. Too many issues hurting BN, enough to give 1MPM6 Najib the headache that refuse to go away...

However, the latest exposed National Feedlot Corporation reduce Najib's chance to call for quick election, and with Bersih 2.0 breathing down his neck, 1MPM6 Najib has too many sleepless nights in Malaysia.

National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) first highlighted by in the annual Auditor's report would have been quietly and quickly swept under the carpet if not for PR's continued and persistent exposure of the issue. Now, almost everyone knows of the RM 250 M soft loan complete with allegations that the money was disbursed before the signature was actually inked. How about the condos in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore? And how NFC spends the money to "invest" in land, luxury cars as well as "all expenses paid" for their Directors.

With the heat on Shahrizat, coming from Bung Karno and Ghaffur, it is surprising to note that Syed Ali of Cheras UMNO is leading the peninsular guys asking Shahrizat to quit her job. What happen to our Aziz of Sri Gading? Normally the trio of Aziz, Bung and Ghaffur will spearhed the charges but this time around Aziz is micely quiet. Is it because his boss, Muhyiddin, heads the Ministry that appoint NFC?

With or without PR as well as the combined forces of Bung, Ghaffur and Syed Ali, the honourable way out for Shahrizat now is to offer her resignation from 1MPM6's Najib's cabinet as well as UMNO Wanita chief. But then again Shahrizat has no balls to do that... so 1MPM6 will be handicapped with ol' Shahrizat as his excess baggage.

To deflect the spotlight from NFC, 1MPM6's government is now making grand news out of Iskandar Investment Berhd (IIB). Yesterday it was the hubby of ex-CEO charged with RM 1.6M graft followed by another 2 ex-Directors charged for similar offences. Maybe 1MPM6 is hoping that IIB scandal will remove the heat off NFC and at the same time tightened some loose bolts on Muhyiddin. Afterall IIB is in Johor and Muhyiddin is from Johor, is it not?

Whilst 1MPM6 is faced with NFC and soon others will come piling on his doorsteps, it does not mean PR is having a field day. Yes, 1MPM6 room is clouded with issues but PR's house is getting cloudy too.

For BN renegades, their situation is like birds in golden cages. Free to see but limited in their movement. For PR, it is more like "marahkan nyamuk, kelambu dibakar". 2008 success is getting into their heads and PR lawmakers are acting beyond their means. 2008 do not actually guarantee PR will sit in Putrajaya in 2012, but unfortunately PR lawmakers are getting giddy to the extent that they do not know how to act anymore.

Look at Rama-Karpal Singh recent spat. Their open warfare will lose those few precious botes that put them where they are now. Karpal may be wrong but Rama choose to burn the netting that protects him from BN mosquitoes. In the end, not only Karpal and Rama burnt but maybe DAP will suffer some burns too...

PAS too has its own problems with Hassan Ali, Nashruddin against "senile" Mustapha Ali. Just because Mustapha Ali is PAS secretary general does not make him all correct. PAS, under Hadi fails to realise the importance of human resources. Yes, Hassan Ali and Nashruddin may step out of party's guideline but they can always be corraled in if it is done properly and diplomatically. The problem is, Mustapha Ali thinks that he is way ahead of the rest and that puts PAS in a dangerous situation.

PKR? The less said the better. PKR is self centered around Anwar. With Anwar probably gone by 9th January 2012, PKR will be like a lost herd. Who has the charisma to bring the herd together? Azmin Ali? Forget it. Khalid Ibrahim? Fat Chance? Rafizi Ismail? Too busy honeymooning...

That's not all. When everyone is busy looking at Anwar and NFC, 1MPM6 seems to push though his golf buddy into another comfortable chair, getting him the Gemas-Johor Bharu double track project. We are not talking M here but B. Yes, the project is worth more than RM 7B and yest out Kong Cho Ha claims that the project is not awarded. Maybe Kong is right, the project is not awarded but at the same time the LOA has been issued. Is it not the same or similar?

That, my friends, are what clouts are for. Proxy to someone with the gains equally shared when the heat is off and when the "politically-connected" master is out of "political job".

So, what is our choice? Maybe our youths can make a stand and welcome 2012 in Guy Fawkes masks. Honestly, I would be glad to join the Guy Fawkes mask wearers in Dataran welcoming 2012 but I am not a party goer, so I leave it to you guys to carry the flag. Afterall, I am an early sleeper and needs all the sleep I can muster in preparation for 2012 GE.

1M TM : Why take on the past....

Can we have peace tonight? Just for this one night, can opposing bloggers stay glued to TV instead of laptops? Let's watch Barcelona (Arsenal) beats MU.

1. I am confused. Before it is so crystal clear. BN on one side, PR on the other. They each defends their party's ideology whilst belittling the opponent party. It is so easy and so straight forward.
2. Then comes Pak Lah. The equation changes. Those in the opposition are still there but now they have a powerful ally by their side. Yes, pro-BN supporters who dislike Pak Lah "join" the opposition against a common enemy or rather a common sleeper.
3. 8th March 2008, GE 12 change Malaysian politics. For the first time, the government failed to achieve 2/3 majority. Who became BN's scapegoat? Pak Lah and off he goes in 2009. You think it's over? No, the fun just started...
4. UMNO GA sees KJ against Khir Toyo against Mukhriz for UMNO youth leader spot. Some support KJ, some Khir, some Mukhriz. It comes to the extent of name calling, curses and whatever in between. And this is amongst UMNO partisans. PR supporters look on in bewilderment. What happen? UMNO implosion?
5. First, it was Sak against Parpukari. And now, it's WJ Khairy against Parpukari. The common name is Parpukari. So what does Sak and WJ has in common? They are both KJ's admirers. Parpu? He claims to be Mukhriz's number one supporter. So, it's two against one, some sort of handicap match...
6. Don't get me wrong. I am not here to take sides. If you guys want to go on mauling each other, "go ahead make my day". I learn that phrase from Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry pictures.
7. I am not going to touch on macro economics, either. What I want to touch on are leaders. The way WJ is writing, I can assume that he has taken his gloves off and has called off his unilateral ceasefire on Tun M in one of his earlier posting but since WJ is fond of erasing his past entries, that particular posting may be gone by now. Kaput, vanish.
8. Whether you like it or not, good or bad, better or worse (sound like one of those marriage vow, isn't it?), Malaysians cannot deny that Tun M had helmed Malaysia for more than 20 years. That's a long time, maybe more than half your life. During that time, with lots of petro money, he had transformed Malaysia from the "where is Malaysia?" question to "Oh, is that the country with twin tower?".
   
9. Tun M had stamped his marks. Now, you can go to Arab Saudi, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh, UK, USA, Australia (where RPK is rumored to be in) and the people there will speak highly of Malaysia and of Tun M.
10. Yes, along the way, Tun M may have lost his focus and gave mega projects to his "friends". Being objective, his friends are not race based. He gave to all. He gave to Halim Saat, Tajuddin Ramli, Al Bukhari. He gave to Eric Chia, Lim Goh Tong, Yeoh Tiong Lay, Vincent Tan. He gave to Ananda Krishnan, Tony Fernandez. He gave to Ting Pek Chiew and countless others in Sabah and Sarawak.
    
11. What do he expects from his generosity? He expects these "self made" entrepreneurs to pass the goodies down to average Joes which is you and me. Everybody is suppose to get a piece of cake. Of course, not all can get the icing. Some may end up with bread crumbs.
    
12. WJ may say that Tun M lied about economy. I say that Tun M did his best, based on options available to him. Hey...before you shoot me, I am not Tun M's admirer.I, too question his every moves back then. Now that Tun M is no longer in power, I sit back and see what Tun M is for Malaysia.
13. Of course what he did in 1980's may not work in 2009. Different time, different solution. Back then, Tun M propelled Malaysia to new heights. Yes, we are falling now. It is not because Tun M is not there. It is because now is our time. It is our duty to shore up Malaysia. When I say "our", it means all of us.
14. You see, Shah Iran did what he thought was the best for Iran. Saddam Hussein did what he thought was the best for Iraq. Heck, even Myanmar junta did what they thought is the best for Myanmar. Talking about Myanmar, if you guys think that Myanmar can do differently, think again. Myanmar has more than 70 ethnic groups. How do you control them? By civilian rule? I don't think so...Myanmar, for the time being, need army control to keep the 70 ethnic groups in check. At the same time Myanmar needs Aung Suu Kyi to work together, hand in hand, with the army to govern Myanmar and guide her through democracy. One question though, why is Myanmar so important to western countries to such an extent that they highlight Myanmar at all possible time? The answer, my friends, is natural resources. That's what they are after and that is why the keep on pressuring Myanmar to open up. Will they do the same for Sri Lanka? Or Laos?
    
15. That said, is there any need for WJ to continuously pound in Tun M? Isn't it better if WJ and Parpu to sit together with UMNO leaders to work out strategic plans to push Malaysia to new heights? Again, I said...I don't know Parpu and I haven't met WJ. So I don't even know whether Parpu passed his SRP or LCE or whatever. But think...do you think other self made successful entrepreneurs of Malaysia all have MBA's? It is not just education, my friends. It comes together with experience, hands on knowledge and luck.
16. So for now, can I see WJ and Parpu easing on each other? Hey, you are supposed to be buddy-buddy wearing the same UMNO flag. If you two guys go for each other's throat, what's left for PR supporters? You want them to go for your balls?
    
17. Can both of you go for bilateral ceasefire, at least until MU-Barcelona game tonight? I need some peace and thinks of Mango Lassi which Zorro will be owing me, once Barcelona (Arsenal) beats MU...

Bloggers : Anons or not...it's your choice

1. These past few days, whether they like it or not or whether it is intentional or unintentional, bloggers seems to be hogging the spotlight.
2. First, blogger Ibrahim Yahaya from Dunia Tiger was appointed as the DG of Broadcasting Ministry of Information on 16th March 2009. Although I did know him, congratulations is in order on his appointment.
3. Next, after warning Bloggers, Rais "I burnt the bridge" Yatim feted 50 bloggers to a sumptuous dinner at Restoran Sri Melayu on 22nd April 2009.
   
4. In between the dinner were some unexpected news. Bloggers Sime Darby Watch and Jed Yoong decided to "hang their computers". Sime Darby watch last posting is around 20th April 2009 whilst Jed Yoong shut hers around 26th April 2009.
5. Of course there are bloggers who shifted their shape and name like pade doh @ bengkel waziboy@wenger khairy returns.
6. Then, comes the bomb! Blogger sakmongkol exposed a voice blogger on 28th April 2009. I am not saying that Sakmongkol is not right in accidentally exposing the blogger. But what I am touching on is whether the said blogger wants to remains anonymous due to reasons best known to the blogger. If the blogger choose to remains anonymous, then I think it is quite fair for us to respect his decision. And even that comes with a pre-condition - as long as the blogger stays within the limits of the law.
7. The blogger has responded in away to his "unmasking". Rightly or wrongly, it is not for us to be the judge, jury or executioner. Both bloggers are right, in their own way and both contribute to healthy discussion on the state of the country. I say, let both of them sit down in a round table talk to clear up whatever misunderstanding or miscommunication or mis ethics or whatever term applicable.
8. Remember that in the past, we do come across bloggers who started as anonymous but "graduated" like Zorro who has voluntarily unmasked for Barisan Rakyat.
   
9. Master blogger, Rocky bru, talk about ground rules for blogging. Whether bloggers should abide to Rocky's suggestions is anotehr matter. But at least, Rocky put up proposals for discussions.
10. To me, as I said it earlier, it is the bloggers choice to whether remains anonymous or not. I, for one, choose to remain anonymous. Not because I have serious run in with the laws but I choose anonymousity for my own benefit. I have walked amongst the other bloggers and still remain unknown. The closest is when I introduced myself ie my nick when shaking hands with Zorro in Kuala Terengganu.
11. And what is my advantage? None. But at least I can walk as friends to both BN and BR bloggers. Does big names intimidate me? No. Does being anonymous has disadvantages? Yes. I was once stopped at one of the candlelight vigils in PJ because they thought that I am a cop when what I wanted to do was to see the video presentation on the roles of the people from different walks of life to gain independence. Malaysia's independence.
12. And guess what? The best thing of being anonymous is that you can choose who you want to tell on your identity. For me, none of my close buddies know me. So far, that situation suits me fine. I have no complaints, whatsoever. Because I blog my thoughts and my opinions, that's all.
    
13. So, I sincerely hope, let us all respect the decision of others if they choose to remain anonymous. It is their life, it is their choice...the least we can do is to respectt their need of privacy although we may know them in their alter life. Afterall, even nerdy Peter Parker needs to go to college although as Spiderman, he can earns big money if he choose to...
14. Finally, let me repeat, let Sak and A voice joins together for a better Malaysia. Let the past be the past. As both of you do not know me as I never meet both of you in person. Let's meet on 9th May 2009 at MPPJ civic center during the GMI's debat on ISA : Halal atau Haram. Let us meet and drink teh tarik at Lotus after the debate. And, if by chance you are there, let's break the ice! Afterall, how many will be drinking at Lotus at that time? Surely, we can guess each other's identity...I am sure of that...I may not be rich but for you guys, teh tariks is on me :)
